Key points
- tayarilabs.com is a small company website. There are no accounts, no forms and no ads.
- We use Google Analytics to count visits. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it stays off unless you accept it; elsewhere you can turn it off under .
- If you email us, we use your message only to answer it.
- We don’t sell or share your personal information.
- Each of our products (for example ChalkSpin) has its own privacy policy for that product.
Who we are
Tayari Labs LLC, an Oregon limited liability company, runs tayarilabs.com (“we”, “us”). Tayari Labs makes free web tools; each product has its own website and its own privacy policy, which applies when you use that product. This policy covers tayarilabs.com only. Questions: support@tayarilabs.com.
What we collect
- When you visit: like every website, our hosting receives basic technical information when your browser asks for a page: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. We use it to deliver the page, keep the site secure and fix problems. These access logs are deleted after 30 days.
- Analytics (if allowed): Google Analytics counts page views and tells us, in aggregate, which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from (country or city level) and what kind of device they use. It uses cookies (
_ga,_ga_<id>) to tell visits apart. Google Analytics doesn’t store your IP address, and we keep analytics data for 2 months. We don’t send your name or email address to Google Analytics and we don’t use it for advertising. - When you email us: we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use it only to answer you and keep a record of the conversation.
- We don’t ask for, and don’t want, sensitive information. There are no accounts, forms, payments or ads on this site.
Your analytics choice
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: Google Analytics stays off until you choose “Accept” in the banner. “Reject” keeps it off.
- Everywhere else, including the U.S.: Google Analytics is on by default. You can turn it off under at the bottom of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as turning analytics off.
- You can change your choice at any time under . Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage on this site. You can also block Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on (opens in a new tab).
Cookies and local storage
| Name | What it does | Lasts | When |
|---|---|---|---|
tl_consentlocal storage | Remembers your analytics choice | Until you clear it | Always, once you choose |
tl_modelocal storage | Remembers light or dark mode | Until you clear it | Once you switch modes |
_ga | Google Analytics: tells visits apart | 2 years | Only if analytics is on |
_ga_<id> | Google Analytics: keeps session state | 2 years | Only if analytics is on |
The site also keeps a copy of its pages in your browser so it can open offline (a service worker cache). It contains only our public pages.
Who helps us
- Amazon Web Services hosts the site (U.S. East region). AWS privacy notice (opens in a new tab)
- Google provides Google Analytics and our email (Google Workspace). Google privacy policy (opens in a new tab)
We don’t sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or merger of Tayari Labs (this policy would keep applying).
How long we keep it
Access logs: 30 days. Analytics: 2 months. Emails: up to 24 months after the conversation ends, unless we need them longer for a legal reason.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it or delete it. U.S. state privacy laws (such as California’s CCPA/CPRA) give residents rights to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing; we don’t sell or share it. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you also have rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time, and you can complain to your data protection authority. Our legal bases there are consent (analytics) and legitimate interests (running and securing the site, answering your emails).
To make a request, email support@tayarilabs.com. We answer within 30 days, or within the time your local law sets.
Children
tayarilabs.com is a general-audience company site and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to support@tayarilabs.com and we’ll delete it.
Security
Every page uses HTTPS. The site is static (there is no database behind it), and access to our hosting and email accounts is limited to the people who run Tayari Labs.
Where data is processed
Tayari Labs is based in the United States and the site runs in the U.S. If you visit from another country, your information is processed in the U.S. Our providers protect transfers with the safeguards the law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
Changes
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change matters, such as a new kind of data or a new use for it, we’ll say so on the site before it takes effect.
